Our Mission

Empowering Our Community

Our mission is to provide young people and adults within our community inclusive activities and opportunities to succeed. We focus on improving confidence, health, social skills, and physical development.

Our role is to work collaboratively with our partners, providers and clinical experts to create the best experience and aspirations for everyone in our community.

Our Three Strands

Strive to be Framework

We achieve our mission through three interconnected 'Strive to be' strands:

Strive to be
Yourself

To inspire confidence in vulnerable groups facing barriers to success. We empower disadvantaged families, adults and young people with SEND and children in care through sensory activities, enrichment and sport.

Strive to be
Better

To provide one-to-one and group coaching to young people and adults. We help set and achieve personal goals, build new skills, develop healthier habits, and achieve balance. Improving mental health through developing coping mechanisms and resilience.

Strive to be
Healthy

To support physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual well-being of people through physical activity, nutrition and healthy habits. Creating a holistic approach to wellness.

Exciting News – Strive Awarded £4,990 from The Joy SEED Fund!

We are delighted to share that our application for £4,990 from The Joy SEED Fund has been successfully accepted.

With this support, we will be launching the first-ever Montessori-led play sessions for 2-year-olds to preschool-age children — an innovative alternative to traditional nursery provision. Each session is designed around the Early Years Framework, supporting the development of key early milestones through meaningful, sensory-rich play.

Our sessions are hands-on and multi-sensory, engaging children through touch, sight, and sound to create learning experiences that inspire curiosity and confidence. Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace — discovering, repeating, and mastering skills in a calm, pressure-free environment.

We will deliver a total of 12 sessions, featuring six unique themes that parents and carers can choose from, based on their child's interests and developmental needs. Families can book a single session or a six-week themed block.

Our Six Themes

  • Into the Forest – Exploring the natural world through nature and texture
  • Splash and Splatter – Water play and colour mixing
  • Little Builders – Construction and problem-solving
  • Sounds Around – Music, rhythm, and movement
  • All About Me – Emotions, self-awareness, and belonging
  • Tiny World, Big Ideas – Imagination and celebration

These sessions are inclusive and accessible for children with attention challenges, developmental delays, or sensory sensitivities. Each child will be supported by their grown-up, fostering shared learning experiences and offering families practical ideas to continue at home.

This programme will provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for early learners — helping them grow in confidence, curiosity, and creativity.

We are thrilled to begin this journey and aim to launch in late February 2026.

Exciting News: Our 2nd Funding Success in Just A Month! 🎉⚽

We are delighted to share that we've achieved our another funding success of £11,270 to support community sport project!

Sport England's Movement Fund Programme has recognised the impact our work will have on young people, and we are so grateful for their support.

Introducing: Kick in the Park Project

This project is deeply personal to me inspired by my childhood - Rob Denness— Director.

As a kid, I grew up near Gillingham Park, a safe and welcoming space where football was everything. We didn't have much money for hobbies, but the park became our sanctuary. Some of my best memories were made there: jumpers for goalposts, bikes as markers, endless games of headers and volleys, World Cup singles and doubles — the kind of football that brought pure joy. I played from age 9-16 years old playing football at this park everyday after school and weekends until the street light came on!

My best mate Dan and I became known as "Rob and Dan from the park." That nickname gave us identity, belonging, and pride. Football wasn't just a game — it was friendship, confidence, and community.

Those years shaped my future. At 16, I signed for Chatham Town FC, beginning a 20-year semi-professional career until I recently retired at age of 37.

Fast-forward to today, and I've been privileged to serve as Director of Sport, Assistant Principal, and now business owner. None of this would have been possible without those formative years in the park.

Why Kick in the Park Matters

Kick in the Park is my way of giving back. It's about creating the same opportunities I had:

  • A safe space to stay active
  • A place to belong and make friends
  • Simple, unstructured play that inspires joy and confidence

We want to bring back the magic of park football, where kids can show up, kick a ball around, and feel part of something bigger.

We can't wait to launch Kick in the Park and share this experience with the community that once gave so much to me.
