After School Club Sports Coach
About the Role
Lead sports activities for young people in our after school club sessions. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and motivate children through sport while working flexible weekday hours.
You'll work with small groups of children, delivering engaging sports sessions that help develop their skills, confidence, and love for physical activity.
Skills and Qualifications Required
Essential Requirements
- PE teacher or Level 1 NGB Coach
- Experience: Leading sports activities for young people
- Enthusiasm and Passion: A genuine love for working with children and sports
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey instructions and feedback
Additional Skills
- Organisational Skills: Efficiently manage time, equipment, and activities
- Leadership: Capable of leading and motivating a group of children
- Patience and Understanding: Adaptable to the needs and abilities of different children
- Teamwork: Able to collaborate effectively with other coaches and staff
Additional Requirements
- Safety Awareness: Knowledgeable about maintaining a safe and inclusive environment
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and requirements
